Juan Manuel Cortés,

Teacher at the conservatory P. A. Soler (S. L. Escorial-Madrid), directing the guitar department, composer, guitar player and conductor.
He has published numerous books with Real musical-Madrid, Carish-Milan, Les Productions D’Oz-Canadá, and Editions Combre-París, in the latter Cortés collaborated with François Castet.
He has won the prize of the Spanish National Ministry of Culture for his didactic books.
His large catalogue includes transcriptions, edited works for guitar, chamber music, orchestral works, electroacoustics… He also composes music for film and television.
Juan Manuel Cortés’ compositions were recorded in Spain, Canada, United States of America, Italy, France, Germany…
